Our vision is that all young people have the opportunity to reach their full potential in body, mind and spirit.
The sad reality is that for many young people they are simply not afforded this opportunity. For a wide variety of reasons, their reality is troubled and their future seems bleak. That’s where we step in.
We believe that young people deserve to have a safe place to live and the opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive. We provide supported housing to local young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or have a housing need. Residents can live at Henley YMCA for up to five years. During this time our staff work hard to encourage and motivate our residents to develop the personal and life skills needed to live successful independent lives and to plan for their futures.
We also provide health, exercise, sport and other activities for all ages with excellent football facilities and a multi-purpose community pavilion. Henley YMCA works in partnership with other local organisations providing youth work, counselling, specialist support and a range of inclusive community activities.
